Live music is an essential part of the Morris experience. However, Ofstep has revealed that the state of music performance is not all it could be. In many cases dancers were not 'being told what to do' by the music.

 

So, Project Morris 2020 proudly presents the MAST®  solution.  Dancers wear discreet ear pieces and a small transmitter (usually placed on or near the main musician) ensures that the music that reaches their ears is transformed into the perfect beat, pitch and tune. This frees up the musician(s) to augment, elaborate (even chat to fellow musicians or the crowd) without affecting the dancing one jot.

 

MAST® comes in two versions:  Standard (in which the musician is fully aware of the technology) and Stealth (in which the transmitter is cunningly disguised as a tankard)

 

MAST® also has the optional function of delivering calls at precisely the right time, relieving the pressure on Number 1.
