The 'golden oldie' of Morris organisations. The Morris Ring was founded in 1934. " to encourage the performance of the Morris, to maintain its traditions and to preserve its history; to bring into contact all the Morris Clubs or Teams." From March 2018 now open to sides of any gender.
Founded in 1975, as a women's alternative to the Morris Ring, the Morris Federation now welcomes any side with the view that the dances themselves are more important than the gender of the dancers who perform them. c500 members
Founded in1979 as a loose organisation of East Anglian dancers Open Morris is open to any group or individual involved in the performance of Morris Dancing or allied activities. c145 members
