And we're not talking electric razors to trim those greying beards, nor mobile phones to check if they're still 'lingering' in the pub.
No, those bastions of English Heritage are being bumped into the 21st century at a blistering rate by the combined efforts of Ofstep, the government inspectorate of Morris Dancing launched last April and the Design Council. They are putting together a package under the banner Project Morris 2020 that will revolutionise Morris as we know it. A well known supermarket will be the online supplier and the pressure group Save Heritage And Morris (SHAM) will be carefully monitoring and feeding in ideas, comments and suggestions from the grass roots of Morris dancing
